By elimination method...

11×(1) = 33x+11y=11

1×(2)= 2x-11y = 3

......................

35x=14

X=14/35 = 0.4.

Substituting x in (1)

3(0.4)+y = 1

1.2 +y = 1

Y = 0.2....

:. X=0.4 and y=0.2..
