now,add both equation

then, eq. becomes

15x+30y= 30

6x-30y=12

then added both equation

21x =42

so,x= 2

putting the value of x in eq. 2

2-5y=2

-5y= 2-2

-5y=0

so,y=0

hence, x=2 and y=0
