Solve the simultaneous equations.

Y=x/2
Now, putting the value of y in the second equation
2x-x/2=1
3x/2=1
3x=2
X= 2/3
Now putting the value of x in first equation
Y= (2/3)/2= 2/3*1/2= 1/3
