X/2+y/3 =1
x/3 +y/2 =1
By taking LC M
3x+2y= 6 (3)
2x+3y=6 (4)
Eqalise coefficient of x
(3) ×2= 6x+4 y= 12
(4) ×3= 6x+9y= 18
Subtracting
--5y= — 6
y=6/5
2x+3×6/5 =6
2x= 6-- 18/5 = 12/5
x= 12/5 ×1/2= 6/5
values of x=6/5 and. y=6/5
Verification
3×6/5+ 2×6/5 =30/5 =6
2×6/5+3×6/5 =30/5=6
