Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter of the square = 80cm

=> 4 × side(s) = 80

=> s = 80/4

=> s = 20cm

A/Q, Area of the square = area of the rectangle

=> s × s = l × b

=> 20 × 20 = 25 × b

=> b = 400/ 25

=> b = 16cm

.°. The breadth is 16cm

and the Perimeter of the rectangle

= 2(l + b)

= 2 × ( 25 + 16)

= 2 × 41

= 82cm

Answer:

Perimeter of rectangle = perimeter of square =80 cm

⇒2(l+b)=45=80

⇒S=

4

80

=20 cm;2(l+b)=80

⇒l+b=40 cm - (1)

difference m areas = 100 cm

2

5

2

−(lb)=100

(20)(20)−(lb)=100

⇒lb=300 - (2)

From (1) and (2)

30+10=40;3×10=l×b

⇒l=30 and b=10

sides of rectangle are 30,10 cm
