Step-by-step explanation:

8a+12b= 92 ........ i

6a-4b=4 ............ ii

from eq ii

6a-4b= 4

6a= 4+4b

a= 4+4b÷6........iii

substituting the value of a in eq. I

8( 4+4b÷6) +12b = 92

16+ 16b ÷ 3+ 12b = 92

16+16b+ 36b = 276

52b= 260

b = 260÷52

b = 5

putting the value of b in eq. iii

a= 4+ 4×5 ÷6

a= 24÷6

a= 4

a= 4, b = 5
