Answer:

THE FIRST ANSWER IS - ANGLE 'X'= 52, and

2x+ 24= 2*52+ 24= 104+24

= 128.

Step-by-step explanation:

The reason for the ans is-

  • x + (2x + 24) = 180 degree ( as it forms linear pair)
  • that is- 3x + 24 = 180 degree
  • 3x= 180- 24 ( by transposing)
  • 3x= 156
  • x= 156/3 ( by transposing)
  • hence angle x= 52 degree.

THE SECOND ANSWER IS -

  • THE VALUE OF X- 145 DEGREE
  • THE VALUE OF Z- 35 DEGREE
  • THE VALUE OF Y- 145 DEGREE

EXPANATION-

  • FOR ANGLE X-

Angle aoc and angle aod forms a linear pair,

hence the sum of both the angles must be equal to 180 degrees so,

35 degree+ x = 180 degree

x = 180 - 35 ( by transposing)

x= 145 degrees

hence angle x = 145 degree.

  • FOR ANGLE Z-

again angle aod and angle dob forms a linear pair,

so the sum of both the angles will be equal to 180 degrees,

hence,

angle x + angle z = 180 degree

that is, 145 degree + z = 180

angle z = 180 - 145 degree

angle z= 35 degree

OR

as angles aoc and dob are vertically opposite angles hence they will be equal.

  • FOR ANGLE Y-

as angles aod and eob are vertically opposite angles, there measure will be same

HENCE ANGLE Y= 145 DEGREES
