i)1st u have to multiply 2x to(2x+1)and then again
multiply -1 to (2x+1)
4x^2+2x-2x-1
=4x^2-1
or u have to apply the formula (a-b)(a+b)=a^2-b^2
here a=2x,b=1
so (2x)^2-1^2
=4x^2-1
ii)a=-2x,b=y
so (-2x)^2-y^2
=4x^2-y^2
iii)a=4a, b=7b
so (4a)^2-(7b)^2
16a^2-49b^2
iv)here can do it directly
(a^2-b^2)(a^2-b^2)
=a^4-b^4
multiply -1 to (2x+1)
4x^2+2x-2x-1
=4x^2-1
or u have to apply the formula (a-b)(a+b)=a^2-b^2
