heya mate first we factorise the polynomial

 {x }^{2}  + 4x + 4

 {x}^{2}  + 2x + 2x + 4

x(x + 2) + 2(x + 2)

(x + 2)(x + 2)

hence \: x =  - 2

putting value of x in

 log_{x  + 2}

hence \:  log_{ - 2 + 2} =  log_{0}

anything \:  log_{0} = 0

therefore

 log_{0}( {x}^{2}  + 4x + 4)  = 0
