Length = 100
Breadth = 80
Breadth = 80

We know , Perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b)
2(l+b)= 360
l+b=180
L=180-b..(1)
Also, Area of rectangle= L×b
L×b=8000
Putting L= 180-b from (1)... we get
(180-b)(b)=8000
180b-b^2=8000
b^2-180b+8000
By Quadratic Formula...
b=100 or 80
If b =100 then L= 180-100= 80
If b=80 then L=180-80=100
Given that... Length is greater than breadth so Length is 100metres and breadth is 80 metres respectively.....
