(1)×3 = 15y-12x = -6xy

(2)×4 = 8y+12x = 52xy

23y = 46xy =>> x =1/2

Substituting value x = 1/2 in (1)

5y - 4(1/2) = -2×(-1/2)y

5y - 2 = -y

6y = 2 =>> y = 1/3
