n ( no. of terms ) = 6

To Find:

The second, third, fourth, and fifth terms of the A.P.

Formula:

an = a + ( n - 1 )d

Explanation:

7 = -3 + ( 6 - 1 )d

or, 7 + 3 = 5d

or, 10/5 = d

or, 2 = d

The common difference is 2.

Answer:

The second term:

-3 + 2 = -1

The third term:
