SOLUTION

Given,

Number of moles, n= 4

Volume, V= 5dm^3

Pressure= 3.32bar

Universal gas constant,R=0.083 bar dm^3 K^-1 mol^-1

Let the temperature be T.

Then, from ideal gas equation we know that:

PV= nRT

 =  > T=  \frac{PV}{nR}  \\  \\  =  >  \frac{3.32 \: bar  \times 5 {dm}^{3} }{4 \times 0.083 \: bar \:  { dm }^{3} K {}^{ - 1}  {mol}^{ - 1} }  \\  \\  =  > 50K

Hence, the temperature of 4.0 mol of a gas occupying 5dm^3 at 3.32 bar is 50K.
