Let CD perpendicular to AD
then CD =p
A( ABC) = 1/2.AB .CD...... (By using Formula)
= 1/2 .c. p. .....(1)
Also A( ABC) =1/2. BC . AC.... ( By using Formula)
= 1/2 ab .......(2)
therefore 1/2 cp = 1/2 ab
therefore *cp = ab*

now we have cp = ab
therefore c/ab = 1/p
therefore c^2 /a^2b^2= 1/p^2 ......(3)....(squaring both sides)
In ABC , angle ABC =90°
AB^2 = BC^2 + AC^2 ...(By Pythagoras thm.)
c^2=a^2 +b^2.....(4)
a^2 + b ^2/ a^2b^2 =1/ p^2
therefore 1/p^2= 1/a^2 +1/b^2
