we have to use conservation of energy here

Ui+KEi=Uf+KEf

U=potential energy

KE=kinetic energy

Ui=mgh

=40m

KEi=25m/2

KEf=mx²/2

here x is the velocity

Uf=16.5m

plugging in the values in the equation

40m+12.5m=16.5m+mx²/2

36=x²/2

x=6√2
