First solve = √7-1/√7+1
= (√7-1)(√7-1)/(√7+1)(√7-1)
= (√7-1)²/(√7²-1²)
= √7²+1²-2(√7)(1)/(7-1)
= 7+1-2√7/6
= (8-2√7)/6
= (4-√7)/3

Now,
√7+1/√7-1
= (√7+1)(√7+1)/(√7-1)(√7+1)
= (√7+1)²/(√7²-1²)
= √7²+1²+2(√7)(1)/(7-1)
= 7+1+2√7/6
= 8+2√7/6
= (4+√7)/3

Required answer:-
= (√7-1)/(√7+1) – (√7+1)/(√7-1)
= {(4-√7)/3} – {(4+√7)/3}
= [4-√7-(4+√7)]/3
= (4-√7-4-√7)/3
= -2√7/3 = a+b√7

By comparing,we get
a = 0 and b = -2/3
