Given, D is midpoint of AC.
By Pythagorean theorum,
AB^2+BC^2=AC^2
By substituting the values,
AC=5
Then AD will be 2.5cm.
Now in triangle ABD,
AB^2=BD^2+AD^2
By solving it, we will get,
1.65=BD

In ABC, angle b=90 ,AB=3,BC=4
By P. T,
AB²+BC²=AC²
3²+4²=AC²
9+16=AC²
AC=5
NOW,
BY PROPERTY OF HYPOTENUSE AND MEDIAN,
BD=1/2×AC
=1/2×5
=2.5
BD=2.5
