x {}^{2}  +  \frac{1}{x {}^{2} }  = 3 \\  =  > (x +  \frac{1}{x} ) {}^{2}  - 2 \times x \times  \frac{1}{x}  = 3 \\  =  > (x +  \frac{1}{x} ) {}^{2}  - 2 = 3 \\  =  > (x  +  \frac{1}{x} )  {}^{2} = 5 \\  =  > x +  \frac{1}{x}  =  \sqrt{5}
