need help with this question: By the end of the month I owe my Dad R150, Uncle Sam R20, the corner cafe R99 and my sister R128, but she said I need only pay her half as I cleaned her car. I also ordered a sandwich 17 times from the cafeteria at work, and I need to pay my bill. The sandwiches costR9.50 each and I have to add 10% to what I owe because I brought on account. And then there is the money I owe the Secretary for the photocopies I made. That was 230 copies at 15c each. How much do I need to borrow from my Mom to pay all my debts at the end of the month? She won't give me a cent unless I tell her what the average amount is that I owe my creditors. Please help me by calculating this.

Step-by-step explanation:

Rs 150 for dad

Rs 20 for uncle sam

Rs 99 for corner cafe

Rs 128/2 = Rs 64 for sister

Rs 9.5 × 17 = Rs161.5 + 10% of Rs 161.5

that is Rs 161.5 + 10/100×161.5 = 161.5 + 16.15 = Rs 178 for cafeteria

15paise = 0.15 Rs

0.15 × 230 = Rs 34.5

total amount needed= 150+99+64+178+34.5= Rs 525.5

average = total sum/no. of creditors

= 525.5/6

= Rs 87.58 (approx)
