Hey❤️

Given,

a= (1 - √2)

__________________________

a \:   -   \frac{1}{a}

 = (1 -  \sqrt{2}  ) -  \frac{1}{(1 -  \sqrt{2}) }

 =    \frac{ ({1 -  \sqrt{2} })^{2}  - 1}{1 -  \sqrt{2} }

 =  \frac{(1 - 2 \sqrt{2}  + 2)  - 1\: }{1 -  \sqrt{2} }

 = \frac{2 - 2\sqrt{2}  \: }{1 -  \sqrt{2} }

 =  \frac{2(1 -  \sqrt{2} ) \: }{1 -  \sqrt{2} }

 = 2

_______________________

(a +1/a)³

= (2)³

= 8
