Given:

F(x) = px²-16x+3=0

It has two distinct roots

 \alpha  \: and \:  \beta

 \star \:  \frac{1}{ \alpha  } -  \frac{1}{ \beta }   =  \frac{14}{3}

To find :

Value of P .

Solution :

• As we know that :

 \star \bold{ sum \: of \: zeroes ( \alpha  +   \beta ) \:  =  \frac{ - b}{a}} \\  \\  \star \bold{product \: of \: zeroes( \alpha  \beta ) =  \frac{c}{a} }

Here ,

• a = p , b = -16 and c = 3

 \star \:  \alpha  +  \beta  =  \frac{ - b}{a}  =  \frac{16}{p}  \\  \\  \star \:  \alpha  \beta  =  \frac{c}{a}  =  \frac{3}{p}

now ,
