1. Simplify the equation.

\frac{(x-3)^2-(x+3)^2}{x^2-9} =\frac{48}{7}

\frac{-12x}{x^2-9} =\frac{48}{7}

-12x\times 7=(x^2-9)\times 48

-7x=4x^2-36

4x^2+7x-36=0

2. Factor.

(x+4)(4x-9)=0

x=\frac{9}{4} or x=-4

ANS : x = 9/4, -4
