Given,
In an Isosceles triangle,
AB = AC,
The bisectors of Angle B and C intersect each other at O.
Now,
Join A to O
(i)
AB = AC (given)
AO = OA (common side)
Angle ABO = ACO (Angles opposite to equal sides)
Therefore, ΔOAB ≈ ΔOAC
so,
OB = OC (Cpct)
(ii)
Angle BAO = Angle CAO
Therefore, OA bisects Angle A.
