Given, u = 20m/s; a = 10 ms^-2

First, let us calculate the maximum distance:

- 2as = v^2 - u^2

or, s = 20m

Hence, half of the distance = 10 m

Now,

 - 2as =  {v}^{2}  -  {u}^{2}  \\  =  >  {v}^{2}  =   400  -  200 \\  =  > v =   200 \\  =  > v =  \sqrt{200}  = 10 \sqrt{2} m {s}^{ - 1}

HOPE THIS COULD HELP!!!
