Ratio of length and breadth of a rectangular farm is 5:4
therefore taking a common multiple x
let the length be 5x and breadth be 4 x
now given that area of farm is 13520 sq. m
thus
5x *4x = 13520
20x^2=13520
x^2=13520/20
x=√676
x=26
so length =5x=5*26=130m
breadth=4x=4*26=104m
cost of fencing the farm is Rs 15/m.
so total area to be fenced
= perimeter of farm
=2(l+b)
=2(130+104)
=2*234
=468 m
so total cost=468*15
= Rs7020
