Multiply x on both sides
x(x {}^{2}  + x + 1) = 0 \times x
x {}^{3}  + x {}^{2}  + x = 0
shifting terms from L. H. S to R. H. S

x {}^{3}  =  - x {}^{2}  - x
Adding 1 on both sides
x {}^{3}  + 1 =  - x {}^{2}  - x + 1
