Answer:

multiplying both the equations by 10,

2x+3y=13 and 4x+5y=23

taking 1st equation,

2x=13-3y----(A)

putting the value of 2x from (A) in 2nd equation,

2(13-3y)+5y=23

26-6y+5y=23

-y=-3

y=3

x=13-9/2

x=4/2

x=2
