Solution:

Area of the triangle = √S ( S - a ) ( S - b ) ( S - c )

Area of the triangle = √S ( S - a ) ( S - b ) ( S - c )Let semi-perimeter be S

All the sides are equal ( a = b = c )

S = Perimeter / 2

S = a + a + a / 2

S = 3a / 2

Area of triangle

= √ S ( S - a ) ( S - b ) ( S - c )

Adding ( a = b = c )

S = 3a / 2

Area of signal board

= √ 3a / 2 ( 3a / 2 - a) ( 3a / 2 - a ) ( 3a / 2 - a )

= √ 3a / 2 × 9 / 2 × 9 / 2 × 9 / 2

= √3a^4 / 2^4

= √ 3a^2 / 2^2 ___ ( 1 ) ___

= √ 3a^2 / 4

180 cm is the perimeter

a + a + a = 180 cm

3a = 180 cm

a = 180 / 3 cm

a = 60 cm

Adding ( a = 60 cm ) in __ (1) __

= √ 3a^2 / 4

= √ 3 × 60^2 / 2

= √ 3 × 3600 / 4
