Solution

L.H.S → (cot A + tan B)/(tan A + cot B)

Since tan∅ = 1/cot∅ therefore

→ (cotA + 1/cotB)/(1/cotA + cotB)

On taking L.C.M we get,

→ (cotA cot B + 1)/cotB ÷ (1 + cotA cotB)/cotA

→ (cotA cotB + 1)/(cotA + cotB + 1) × cotA/cotB

→ cot A/cot B = Middle Term

Since tan B = 1/cot B hence

→ cotA tanB = R.H.S
