Answer: beacause of attraction forces and volume

Explanation:  For ideal gas we assume that there is no attraction between their atoms but in real gas there is attraction forces present because every gas is not purely non polar . And second in ideal gas we neglect the volume of gaseous atoms but in real gas there is volume occupied by a atom of real gas is 4 times of it's volume (note: volume mean the free space where the gas atom can move freely).  And the derivation you can see in NCERT.
