Here is how you can do this. Please before seeing answer try it using this hint:-
In above expression use identity a^2 - b^2 to simplify further after this use identity sin^2 alpha + cos^2 alpha =1

Yt1014485gmailcom: I have opened 1 as sin^2theta + cos^2theta after that taken out 2 as common factor. Again on recollecting expression you can notice that sintheta can be taken as common and then simplified it to prove the given statement
