1). 1/2( 2/5+3/4)

= 1/2 ( 23/20)

= 1/2 × 23/20

= 23/40

therefore, 20/40, 21/40,22/40,23/40 ,24/40, 25/40,26/40,27/40

So, we can find infinity rational number between 2/5 and 3/4.

2/5 = ( 2×4 ) / ( 5×4 ) = 8/20=(8×2)/(20×2)=16/40

3/4 = ( 3×5 )/ ( 4×5 ) = 15/20=(15×2)/(20×2)=30/40
So here we get the terms:-->16/40,30/40

The required nine rational numbers:_-
17/40,18/40,19/40,20/40,21/40,22/40,23/40,24/40,25/40
