(a) The resistivity will remain same since it doesn't depend upon the length but rather than material.

(b) (i) In Series,

R/4 + R/4 + R/4 + R/4 = R

(ii) In Parallel,

4/R + 4/R + 4/R + 4/R = 1/Rp

Therefore Rp = R/16

(c) P= V²/R

If R is less, power consumed will be more.

In the given case, R is lessee in the parallel and power consumed will be more.
