 \frac{x}{5} + \frac{28}{x + 2} = 5

 \frac{x(x + 2) + 28 \times 5}{5(x + 2)} = 5 \\ \\ \frac{ {x}^{2} + 2x + 140}{5x + 10} = 5 \\ \\ {x}^{2} + 2x + 140 = 25x + 50 \\ \\ {x}^{2} + 2x + 140 - 25x - 50 = 0 \\ \\ {x}^{2} - 23x + 90 = 0 \\ \\ {x}^{2} + 5x + 18x + 90 = 0 \\ \\ x(x + 5) + 18(x + 5) = 0 \\ \\ (x + 5)(x + 18) = 0

Here x = -5 and x = -18.

The required roots are -5 and -18.

x/5 + 28/(x+2) = 5

(x^2 + 2x + 140)/5x + 10 = 5

x^2 + 2x + 140 = 25x + 50

x^2 - 23x + 90 = 0

I think, you can solve after this....
