This is formulae
 \frac{ - b  +   \sqrt{b { }^{2}  - 4ac}}{2a}  \:  or \frac{ - b -   \sqrt{b { }^{2}  - 4ac}}{2a} \:  i.e \:  \frac{ - b + -   \sqrt{b { }^{2}  - 4ac}}{2a}

you can calculate it by using simple (a+b)² formula. the answer will be x=(-√3)
