Given:

x = 2 and x = 0

=> p(2) = 2(2)^3 - 5(2)^2 + p(2) + b

=> 2*8 - 5*4 + 2p + b = 0

=> 16 - 20 + 2p + b = 0

=> -4 + 2p + b = 0 -------------------------equation (1)

Also, p(0) = 2(0)^3 - 5(0)^2 + p(0) + b

=> b = 0 --------------------------------equation (2)

Now, putting equation (2) in equation (1)

We get, -4 + 2p + 0 = 0

=> 2p = 4

=> p = 4/2

=> p = 2

Hence, p = 2 and b = 0.
