Hey mate !!!
Balanced chemical equation
Zn (s ) +2 HCl(aq) => ZnCl2( s) + H 2 (g) .
here is displacement reaction occur !!!
because Zinc is more REACTIVE then HYDROGEN .
⭐⭐⭐and second thing is =>
when a metal REACT with an acid it Prodce HYDROGEN gas . for eg = Hcl , H2So4 , etc
✴✴exception :- Nitric acid .
hope it helps :D
thanks

To write a balanced equation, first write the skeletal reaction by reading the question.
It is as follows : Zn + HCl ---> ZnCl2 + H2
Now coming to balancing...
Just check the coefficient of the elements on both sides.
We have same number of zinc atoms on both sides. so better not disturb it.
Coming to Hydrogen and chlorine we have 2 atoms both on products side.
So just keep "2" before HCl in reacants side. And that's it you have got it!
Just check the no. of elements on both sides to know wether the equation if balanced or not.
Zn + 2HCl -----------> ZnCl2 + H2
Still doubts.. just inform me!
