length, l = x+3
Perimeter = 54m
=> 2(l+b) = 54
=> 2(x + x+3) = 54
=> 2(2x + 3) = 54
=> 2x+3 = 54/2 = 27
=> 2x = 27 - 3 = 24
=> x = 24/2 = 12m
Thus breadth = 12m
Length = 12 + 3 = 15m.

We know that sum of all external angle in any regular polygon = 360°
Thus n × 45 = 360
=> n = 360/45
=> n = 8
