3x+4y=19,2x- y=9​

2x - y =9.......(2)

multiplying  equation2 by 4 , we get

4(2x - y )= 36

8x - 4y = 36.......(3)

adding eq. 1 and 3 , we get

11x=55

hence , x = 5

substituting value of x in eq 2 we get,

10 - y = 9

hence, y = 1
