Answer :-

Solution :-

Given,

ratio = 3:4

⟹ let us assume some factor x

⟹ There sum is 420

⟹ 3x + 4x = 420

⟹ 7x = 420

⟹ x = 60

⟹ Greater number will be 4x = 4(60) =240

let the two number be x and y
x/y=3/4
4x=3y
4x-3y=0

x+y=420
3x+3y=1260

4x-3y=0
3x+3y=1260
7x=1260
x=180

x+y=420
180+y=420
y=420-180
y=240

hence y is bigger.....
