Ans 3: Assume two digits number is 10x+y

According to the question, two-digit number is 3 more than 4 times the sum of its digits.

then 4(x+y) +3 = 10x+y

After solving this, you will get = 2x-y = 1

Now if 18 is added to the number, its digits are reversed.

10x+y+18 = 10y+x

After solving this, you will get = x-y = -2

or, y = x+2 (let's substitute this value of y in the above equation)

2x - (x+2) = 1

2x-x-2=1

x-2=1

x=3, y=5

Ans 4: assume two digits of the number are x and y and the number is 10x+y

then

x+y=15

and

10y+x = (10x+y) +9

simplify this

-x+y=1

adding two above equations we get

y=8 and x =7

Hey Mate :

Let Number be : 10x + y

Given :

10x + y = 4 ( x + y ) + 3

10x + y = 4x + 4y + 3

10x - 4x = 4y - y + 3

6x = 3y + 3

2x = y + 1

y = 2x - 1..........(i)

According to Question :

10x + y + 18 = 10y + x

10x + 2x - 1 + 18= 20x -10 + x

21x - 12x = 17 + 10

9x = 27

x = 3,

Putting x=3, in eq.......(i)

y = 5

Number be :

===> 35 <===

Hope it Helps You :)
