Heya!!
------------------------------------
x/a + y/b = 2 .. Eq1.
ax + by = a^2 + b^2 .. Eq2.
In eq1.
=) x/a = 2 - y/b
=) x = a(2 - y/b)
=) x = 2a - ay/b
Put value of x in eq2.
=) a(2a - ay/b) + by = a^2 + b^2
=) (2a^2 - a^2y/b + by) = a^2 + b^2
=) (2a^2 - a^2 - a^2y/b + by- b^2 = 0
=) (a^2 - b^2 = a^2y/b- by
=) b(a^2 - b^2) = a^2y - b^2y
=) b(a^2 - b^2) = y(a^2-b^2)
=) y = b
Put value of y in eq 1.
Uh get x= a.
Hope it helps uh :)
