Hey!!!!
________
We have,
(x + 3y = 0)2
and
2x - y = 5
Using Elimination Method
=> 2x + 6y = 0
2x - y = 5
(-). (+). (-)
=> 7y = -5
Thus y = -5/7
Using y in x + 3y = 0
=> x + 3(-5/7) = 0
=> x - 15/7 = 0
=> x = 15/7
_________
Hope this helps ✌️

x+3y = 0 ---------------------------------------- 1
2x-y = 5 ----------------------------------------- 2
1*2 => 2x + 6y = 0 --------------------------- 3
3-2 => 2x + 6y = 0
- ( 2x - y = 5 )
- + -
----------------------
7y = -5
----------------------
7y = -5
y = -5/7
Put y in 2 => 2x - (- 5/7) = 5
2x = 5-5/7
2x = 35-5/7
x = 30/7 * 2
x = 15/7
Therefore, y = -5/7; x = 15/7
Hope this helpz :)
