Answer:

x = 0, 1/4

Step-by-step explanation:

Given Equation is 2x² - 1/2x = 0

=> 2x² - (1/2)x = 0

=> 4x² - x = 0

=> x(4x - 1) = 0

=> x = 0, 1/4

Hope it helps!

Answer:

2x ^{2}  -  \frac{1}{2} x = 0

 \frac{4x ^{2} - x }{2}   = 0

4 {x}^{2}  - x = 0

x(4x - 1) = 0

On comparing we get

x = 0 \:

and

4x - 1 = 0 \\ 4x = 1 \\ x =  \frac{1}{4}

Hence required solution set is x = 0 , 1/4
