Solve: [x + 1 /x − 1] > 0, x ≠ 1

[x+1 / x-1] > 0
This will satisfy in two cases:

Case:1
x+1>0        and         x-1>0
x > -1        and         x > 1
the common region is x>1

Case:2
x+1<0        and         x-1<0
x < -1        and         x < 1
the common region is x < -1

So the region is x belongs to (-∞,-1) and (1,∞)
