Hey!

 \frac{x}{10} + \frac{y}{5} = 1

 \frac{x}{8} + \frac{y}{6} = 15

Elimination Method is better according to me :p

10 \times \frac{x}{10} + 10 \times \frac{y}{10}
x + 2y = 10

-------(1)

lly,

24 \times \frac{x}{8} + 24 \times \frac{y}{6} = 24 \times 15

3x + 4y = 360

-------(2)

x + 2y = 10

 - 3x - 6y = - 30

3x + 4y = 360

 - 6y + 4y = - 30 + 360

 - 2y = 330

y = - 165

substituting value of y in eq.(1)

x + 2 \times ( - 165) = 10

x - 330 = 10

x = 10 + 330

x = 340

Thus
x = 340

y = - 165

Hope helped
