⇒X-2y =8

⇒ x = 8+2y..........................equation 1

and 3x-6y=9​

So put the value of x from equation 1

⇒ 3(8+2y) - 6y = 9

⇒ 6y+24 -6y = 9

⇒ 24 = 9 ( which is incorrect)

so the following system of equation has no solution

as a1/a2 = b/b2 ≠ 1/c2

i.e Lines are parallel to each other
