Heya there !!!
Here is the answer you were looking for:
 \frac{x + 3}{6 + 1}  =  \frac{6x - 1}{3}  \\  \\  \frac{x + 3}{7}  =   \frac{6x - 1}{3}  \\  \\ 3(x + 3) = 7(6x - 1) \\  \\ 3x + 9 = 42x - 7 \\  \\ 3x - 42x =  - 7 - 9 \\  \\  - 39x =  - 16 \\  \\ 39x = 16 \\  \\ x =  \frac{16}{39}

Hope you understood ^_^
