We need to solve the expression

Solution

Given Expression is (x + 3)/6 + 1 = (6x – 1)/3

$\frac{x+3}{6}+1 = \frac{(6x-1)}{3}$

In L.H.S we need to take the L.C.M First

The L.C.M is 6

∴ $\frac{x+3+6}{6} = \frac{6x-1}{3}$

∴ $3(x+3+6)=6(6x-1)$

∴ $3x+9+18 = 36x-6$

∴ $6+9+18 = 33x$

∴ $33 = 33x$

∴ x = 1

Hence the value of x is 1
