solve (x-3)/7=(x-5)/4​

Answer:

 \frac{(x - 3)}{7}  =  \frac{(x - 5)}{4}

4(x - 3) = 7(x - 5)

4x - 12 = 7x - 35

7x - 4x = 35 - 12

3x = 23

x =  \frac{23}{3}
